Vera Majoor

Deviser, performer and lighting designer

Vera Majoor is a theatre maker, performer and director from The Netherlands. They are currently finishing their MA in Advanced Theatre Practice at Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, and recently graduated from the Academy of Theatre at Fontys School of Fine and Performing Arts (2024). Earlier this year, they devised the interdisciplinary physical theatre piece “SPIN AGA!N”, which will be returning to the stage at Voila Festival this November (2025). In the Netherlands, they devised and performed in the immersive theatrical one-on-one experience “SELECT” (2023), as well as directing a playful adaptation of Tom Stoppard’s “Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead” for the 39 Graden Festival (2024) and starring in the short movie "De Schoonheid van Nee" by Lavender Films (2022). Other recent training includes a semester in classical acting at London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (2023), and the Mime Orientation Course at the Academy of Theatre and Dance in Amsterdam (2024).
